As recipients of the NANPA college scholarship we got to meet a bunch of talented young photographers. One of those photographers was Aaron Schmitt, a graduate student studying visual journalism at the Brooks Institute. Throughout the program, Aaron had his video camera out, making sure to capture every minute of action. I was fortunate to be able to attend this year’s North American Nature Photography Association summit in McAllen, TX as a 2011 scholarship recipient. I was joined by 12 other college students. This documentary tells our story and why we are so passionate about photography.
